Dear Students and Parents,
To be a part of this creation is a privilege and rarely do students have an opportunity to be both part of the creation and a beneficiary of an educational system. I know from my own experience as a student in a brand new primary school that it can be one of the most enriching and long lasting learning experiences one can have.
“Our motto” :All should aim at greatness but greatness should not be achieved by any means .It should be realized only through goodness namely good, just and legal activities. All the students should be aware, if whatever we do is not good ,it can never be called great Goodness should precede every action .
“Our aims and objectives to built up school” :To prepare men for others is our aim. The school spends its time, money, energy, etc, to mould, culturally, physically, socially and psychologically in order to serve others, the society, the country at large and not themselves. They will find happiness and joy in the service of their fellowmen. To prepare the student on religion ideals.
Classes are conducted on moral principle and conduct for improving skill and personality, so as to empower the values of simplicity, dignity of labour, forgiveness, tolerance and generosity in the students.

Introduction…
Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, GIDC Chitra is a school managed by well known educational trust Shree Satsang Shiksha Parishad, Gandhinagar.
The education process is divided according to age group as :
- For students from age 2 to 3 years there is a Ganesh Group. Appropriate Syllabus is designed for this age group such as music, playing, story telling, magic, puppets show, body parts identification etc.
- For students from age 3 to 4 years there is a Krishna Group. Syllabus for this age group is mathematics, picture drawing, hand crafting, acting, playing etc.
- For student s from age 4 to 6 years there is a Shiv Group. Syllabus for this age group is maths, writings of alphabets, counting of numbers and language knowledge is provided.
Activities done by Balmandir…
Balmandir is making student to learn Clay toy making, Drawing pictures, Color filling , Paper cutting, Spray work, vegetable painting, embroidery, best out of west etc to make them efficient for day-to-day life as well as for future school study. Balmandir also organize tours or picnics to GOLIBAR, DERASAR, BORTALAV, BALVATIKA, GOPNATH, BHAVNATH, ZANZARIA HANUMAN etc. Bal mandir teach students various in-door and out-door games to the students as per their age group. Bal mandir also organize exhibition according to occasions like Ganeshji photo exhibition, Gandhiji photo exhibition, photo exhibition of leaders or freedom fighters, student’s activities exhibition, various musical instrument’s exhibition etc. Through various plays and events, mimic etc bal mandir tries to provide best education to students.
Cultural activities…
- Puppet show organized by Balmandir
- Exhibition held on Gandhiji that shows photos of Gandhiji, coins, mail tickets and books written by Gandhiji.
- On Ganesh-Chaturthi exhibition held that shows more than 300 cards of Ganeshji , and statues of ganesh made from gold to clay.
- Exhibition of educational equipments and animals, birds, creatures musical instruments etc.
- Night holt : to make child learn day-to-day activities by themselves and to develop group interest in child such tours are organized.
- Paperwork is teach by NUTAN BAL SHIKSHAN SANGH to develop creativity among children
Primary School…
Education provided from 1st standards to 7th standard. Education is provided in Gujarati medium. All the teachers are well trained and well qualified for teaching in high school.

- Parents and teacher meeting organized every month to review the progress of student.
- Teaching and learning material available for student to make study effective and easy.
Extra activities done in school…
School organizes painting competition very often. It also provides training to learn drawing and paper cutting at school. It also provides facilities for scatting, yoga, karate, mud toy making etc. School also provides extra training to poor students. School also provides religion education and general knowledge with regular education. School provides examination time table , literature related to rules regulation and syllabus information with progress report to parents.

- Cultural activities done by school on annual day functions and on such other occasions are Dance, garba Falk songs music, gypsy dance, fashion show fancy dress competition, western dance etc.

School provides special facilities like Sports ground. Computer room with advance computers is also available. Computer lab is fully furnished. School has a Water hut. There is a Vidyarthi Vastu bhandar (Canteen and book shop) running by institute. Extra coaching to poor, ranker and border students. Mini Buses are provided by school for students transportation.

Education is available from 8th to 10th standard and 11th and 12th with both the stream general and science with Gujarati medium. There is co-education in the School.

School has a library with 3294 books and 13 no. of magazines. In spite of that school has a water hut with 26 cokes. Vidyarthi Vastu Bhandar (canteen cum Book store) is run by institute. School provides facilities and Activities pamphlet with the admission form. Mini Buses are provided by school for students for transportation. “Shree Satsang Shiksha Parishad, Gandhinagar”, is a well known educational trust in Gujarat. It carries out its educational activities in major cities of Gujarat. The highly disciplined management is a plus point of the organization. It has gained a lot of reputation amongst educational institutions. Particularly in Bhavnagar, the trust is well known for its high standards.
The foundation stone of the institute was laid on 18th February, 1978 by the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Babubhai Jasbhai Patel.
Purpose of Establishment…
To provide higher education in Gujarati medium to male students, the trust has started a school named “Shree Swaminarayan High School”. It provides education from 8th to 10th standard and 11th and 12th standard with both the stream general and science since 1982.

To make students aware about science there is SWAMINARAYAN LOK VIGNAN KENDRA. Yoga makes life easier and peaceful in today’s life. So to make aware students about yoga and its advantages there is a SWAMI YOGANAND YOGA KENDRA, which provides education for yoga. Music makes life a happy and interesting, to develop interest of students towards music there is a SWAMINARAYAN SANGIT VIDYALAY. This Vidyalay provides training in music and various musical instruments playing. To develop interest of students towards sports there is a SPORTS CLUB. This club provides various facilities for various sports like Cricket, Badminton, Athletics, Football, Armory, Talavarbazi, Table Tennis, Kho-Kho.

Shree V.L. Kankotia is a Education Project Chairman, Sardar Patel Snatak Mitra Mandal, Bhavnagar. He is also a member of Education Committee Sardar Patel Seva Trust, Bhavnagar. He is a Trustee of Swaminarayan Gurukul, Sardarnagar, Bhavnagar. He is a Hon. Secretary – Sarvangi Vikas Mundal, Trust, Pati – Ta – Botad. He is a Resource Person for Total Quality Management in Education Training Programme.

School organized one Cultural and sports meeting in February –2009. various cultural events organized by school such as Drama, short drama, raas, Sports. Its opening and closing ceremony held on in February –2009.
