The school  students of all ages and abilities take part in sport for enjoyment, relaxation and exercise and as a positive aid to their educational development and the formation of their sense of self-worth.

The School will provide facilities for all games to encourage healthy competition, character building and physical stamina. Inter-school, inter-class  and inter city  competitions will be held for both boys and girls.

Sporting facilities include an Olympic-size football field, a 400 meter track, a jogging track,  a 25 meter pool, a diving pool, a hockey field, a golf putting, well-equipped gymnasium,  tennis and basketball courts, and weight-training equipment. Physical education is an integral part of the curriculum.

At Swaminarayan Gurukul, we aim for perfection in competitive sport as in all sense.  We model ourselves on those outstanding sporting stars who are also girls and boys. We have four game instructors, two swimming coaches and an aerobics instructor for all sports and we set out to defeat the opposition with skill and good humor.

Players or participants will be encouraged to be on time, to dress appropriately and tidily, to greet opponents in a friendly manner before a competition and thank both them and the umpire/referee afterwards, to play in a team spirit to the best of their ability, to encourage team mates, and to win and lose in a civilized manner.
